Warranty Policy
1. Overview
CMSA Company Limited (“CMSA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), as the sole distributor of MEA water management systems in Asia, stands behind the quality, performance, and durability of all MEA drainage products. This Warranty Policy outlines our commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction and product reliability.
We warrant that MEA drainage systems, components, and accessories supplied by CMSA are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and installation conditions for a specified period from the original date of purchase.
2. Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies to MEA drainage channels, gratings, covers, access systems, and related components manufactured by MEA and distributed by CMSA.
The standard warranty period is 12 months from the date of delivery or 6 months from installation, whichever comes first. Certain MEA products may carry extended warranties depending on their material composition or intended application.
Under this warranty, CMSA will, at its discretion:
- Repair the defective product;
- Replace it with an equivalent item; or
- Issue a credit or refund for the defective component’s value.
All replacements or repairs are subject to CMSA’s inspection and verification.
3. Conditions of Warranty
The warranty applies only when:
- The product is installed, maintained, and used in accordance with MEA’s official installation instructions and technical guidelines;
- The defect arises from manufacturing or material faults and not from misuse, negligence, or improper application;
- The product has not been modified, altered, or repaired by unauthorized personnel; and
- Proof of purchase and installation date are provided to CMSA.
CMSA reserves the right to inspect any product claimed under warranty. Products must be returned to our Hong Kong office or an authorized service center for evaluation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by incorrect installation, inadequate foundation, or structural movement;
- Corrosion or wear resulting from aggressive environments or chemical exposure beyond design limits;
- Accidents, impact damage, vandalism, or natural disasters;
- Normal aging, discoloration, or surface deterioration due to weathering;
- Costs of removal, reinstallation, or transportation unless pre-approved by CMSA.
MEA and CMSA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, downtime, or business interruption.
5. Warranty Claim Procedure
To make a warranty claim, customers must contact CMSA immediately upon discovering a defect, providing:
- Proof of purchase (invoice or delivery note);
- Installation details and date;
- Description and photographs of the defect.
Claims should be sent to info@cmsa-mea.com or submitted in writing to our Hong Kong office. CMSA will review the claim, arrange inspection if necessary, and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
6. Limitation of Liability
CMSA’s total liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product’s value. No employee, agent, or distributor is authorized to extend or modify this warranty without written approval from CMSA.
